Child Care Aware of Washington and the state of Washington’s Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction are promoting early learning collaborations between elementary schools and child care providers as one way to help ensure that kids have a great start in school.
We provide customized resources and information to increase communication and build connections between kindergarten teachers and child care providers. These services are available at no cost to elementary schools and support the Early Learning Collaboration component of the Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (WaKIDS).
If you are an elementary school principal interested in connecting with local child care providers, please:
- Review the Bridging Communities and Making Connections project summary to learn more about the project.
- Complete and submit this Provider Data Request form to receive a report of local child care providers, and to connect with the Child Care Aware of Washington director in your region.
