Elevate 2022

At Child Care Aware of Washington, we are change agents in developing an outstanding child care and early learning system available to all of Washington’s children. As part of this important work, we are thrilled to present our eighth annual Elevate Early Learning Conference. This year will be our third virtual conference, from October 3rd-6th, 2022.

The Elevate Early Learning Conference brings together relationship-based practitioners such as coaches, trainers, family services staff, mental health consultants, and policymakers from throughout Washington State to attend skill-building sessions and engage in cross-systems conversations to help them become stronger and more successful leaders.

Our theme this year is Connecting Experiences and Elevating Stories. Join us as we continue learning, connecting, and taking a deeper dive into storytelling. Storytelling is in our nature. When we live through hardships or moments of joy, we gain experiences that help shape who we are. Storytelling allows us to share our experiences with others. When we share, we connect.

New this year! We will be offering a STARS Trainer Track aligned with DCYF Trainer Standards and designed to support successful, dynamic training delivery. The trainer track will include the opening and closing plenaries.  Trainers will have the option of choosing single sessions throughout the week or a three-session cohort that will offer a deeper dive into learning.

The plenary speaker this year is Dr. Crystal R. Sanders. To learn more about her work and the stories she will be sharing, please click here.
