Elementary School Principals
Collaborate with local child care providers to improve kindergarten readiness in your community!
Child Care Aware of Washington and the state of Washington’s Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction are promoting early learning collaborations between elementary schools and child care providers as one way to help ensure that kids have a great start in school.
CCA of WA provides a list of licensed child care providers in school districts to Principals so that they can reach out, increase communication, and and build connections between kindergarten teachers and child care providers. These services are available at no cost to elementary schools and support the Early Learning Collaboration component of WaKIDS (Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills)
If you are an elementary school principal interested in connecting with local child care providers, please:
- Complete and submit this Provider Data Request form to receive a report of local child care providers, and to connect with the Child Care Aware of Washington director in your region for additional early learning connections resources.
